Police are appealing to the public for information after a robbery at a Hamilton property left two people seriously injured last night.
Emergency services were called to a premises on Tuhikaramea Rd, Dinsdale at around 9.45pm Saturday after reports a group had allegedly entered the premises and demanded cash and personal items.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Neilson said two people suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
"A 17-year-old was arrested and will appear before the Youth Court in due course," Neilson said.
He said inquiries were ongoing to locate the other people involved.
"Police would like to hear from anyone they have not yet spoken to who might have information about the incident or those involved."
