1 New traffic light system for school attendance proposed
The Government has announced its action plan to lift student attendance rates, with Associate Education Minister David Seymour proposing a traffic light system for truant students among other measures.
Seymour said he wanted to create "a culture where children know if they want to get anywhere in life, they need to get to school first."

The Fair Go brand is set to live on, however, with a new team within News and Current Affairs proposed. This would consist of four new roles and have a focus on long-form consumer and current affairs for digital platforms.
The Sunday team will learn its fate tomorrow.
