Person dies following 'water incident' in Auckland

One person has died following a 'water incident' in Auckland on Thursday morning.

Police say emergency services were called to a "sudden death" on Dayspring Way, in Pakuranga just before midday.

An ambulance was called to the scene, a St John spokesperson confirmed to 1News.
