Two people injured after being hit by car in Auckland

Two people have been injured after they were hit by a car in the Auckland suburb of Epsom this afternoon.

The pair were walking near the intersection of Market Road and Great South Road when they were hit around 1pm.

The pedestrians received minor to moderate injuries in the incident.

Ambulance services have been called to the scene.
