An investigation is underway after three people were found dead at a property in South Auckland last night.
Police were called to a property on Cambridge Terrace in Papatoetoe at around 6.40pm after a person was found dead.
"Upon arrival, police have located this person, as well as two additional people within the home who were also pronounced deceased," Detective Inspector Karen Bright said.
“While our investigation is in the early stages, we are not currently looking for anyone else in connection to what has occurred."

Police do not believe there is any risk to the wider public.
A scene examination was being carried out "which will help us piece together the circumstances that led to this tragic event,” Bright said.
Support was being provided to the whanāu and neighbours of those found dead.

“Police recognise events like this hit at the hearts of our communities, and we are doing everything we can to answer the many questions around this devastating incident.
“Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area while the investigation continues,” Bright said.
A neighbour told the NZ Herald he saw a man's body at the entrance to the house.
“We were having dinner and my daughter saw police cars go past so I opened the door to look and saw him. Lots of us on this side of the road did.”
Another said they were shaken when told what had happened.
“I just bloody bawled my eyes out. I can’t believe it. They’re a good family,” they said.
“Just bloody hell. I just can’t believe it. You see this on the news.
”I’m just absolutely in shock.”
St John said it responded with one ambulance, a critical care unit and an operations manager.
Fire and Emergency NZ said it sent three crews from Papatoetoe and Ōtara to the scene.
