Kiwi F1 driver Liam Lawson is aiming to "get the most out" of his third week in the cockpit of a Red Bull.
Lawson is once again covering an injured Isack Hadjar for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix. It will be the first race to be held at the brand-new track in Madrid.
It's the third week in a row where the 24-year-old will drive for the senior team – an outfit he was sacked from after just two races last season.
Reflecting on his time with Red Bull, Lawson said: "This year has been very, very positive.
"People are going to judge however they want to, but at the end of the day, in whatever car I'm driving, I'm going to try and get the most out of it. And I feel like the last two weekends we've done that."
Last week's Italian Grand Prix was difficult for Lawson, a rear wing change effectively halting his chances of a points finish. The rest of the season has been strong though, and he currently sits ninth in the drivers' standings.
The venue for this weekend's event is the brand-new Madring – a 22-corner hybrid track combining street and purpose-built sections.
Lawson said his focus for the first practice session would be learning the new circuit.
"On a track like this, you want to have as much time on track as possible," he said.
"When you go to tracks like Monza and other places we've been there plenty of times, they're pretty simple tracks, and it's not so important. You can spend a bit more time, maybe long running or a bit more time with setup changes.
"Whereas here, it's really about doing the laps and making sure that by qualifying, you've prepared as much as you can."
Cars will be on track for the first practice session at 11.30pm tonight (NZT). Qualifying will be at 2am on Sunday, with the race at 1am on Monday.
