Police are seeking a vehicle which stopped at the scene of a fatal crash in the Christchurch suburb of Burnside earlier this year.
A single-vehicle accident happened on Grahams Rd at about 10.50pm on April 27, when a car hit a concrete fence, leaving a woman seriously injured.
The woman was taken to hospital by emergency services, where she later died.
Now, police have asked for people to come forward about a second vehicle that was involved, a white car with a male driver.
Based on CCTV footage, the car turned onto Grahams Rd from Wairakei Rd and briefly stopped at the scene before leaving.
The public has been asked to contact police on 105 if they have any knowledge of the car registration or the male driver involved.
