A woman reported missing in Christchurch after failing to return from a walk yesterday morning has been found safe and well.
Earlier today, police said the woman had left her home in Hoon Hay between 8am and 9am yesterday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Dan Overend said the walks were part of her daily routine.
"Her walks are typically no longer than two hours," he said.
"This behaviour is out of character, and her family is becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare."
In an update this evening, police said the woman was found "safe and well".
"Police would like to thank those who provided information that assisted in locating her."
