The Government is proposing to change the deed of understanding it has with NZ Post to downscale mail deliveries to a minimum of two days a week in urban areas and three days a week in rural areas.

Murder accused Tingjun Cao was back in court this morning, as the second week of his trial began. The 53-year-old is accused of stabbing and killing real estate agent Yanfei Bao in July last year, which he denies.
