A notable Kiwi contingent of volunteers are amongst the more than 45,000-strong army ensuring the 2024 Paris Olympics runs smoothly.
Volunteers are playing a vital role in the success of the Games, from guiding tourists to providing support at events.
Bee Ruder, who flew in from Christchurch, told 1News she was "so proud" to be a part of the team.

"I may be a small cog but we've all done a lot of hard work. It's rewarding to help so many people from diverse backgrounds."
She said the experience was unforgettable and "something special" happened every day.
"Yesterday, we were able to hold the Olympic flame. I'm living and loving it every day."
The assistance provided by the volunteer team has been "invaluable", according to tourists.
Kiwi volunteers were not only contributing on the ground but were also making their mark with their distinctive uniforms which have become sought after items — fetching up to NZD$364 on eBay.
At New Zealand House, other Kiwis such as Charne Labotsky were also proudly representing their country.
"I jumped at the chance to volunteer, hang out with other Kiwis, and do my part for my country," she said.
