A Christchurch mum who isn't feeling great about her body is off to Thailand for what is being called a "mummy makeover".

Kacey Louise had her second child eight years ago and isn't happy with how giving birth left her body.

"My body was literally taken over by children and I think a lot of mums will be able to get where I'm coming from with that one," Kacey told Seven Sharp.

Going to Thailand for a makeover is a big move for a woman who makes her living in the beauty industry, where she is known as Christchurch's "Queen of Eyebrows".

She decided to investigate options when she saw other women's bodies and compared them to her own.

"I went up to Nelson last year and I was on the beach and there were women in their 50s in bikinis and the skin on their stomachs was just so amazing," she said.

The package will cost her around $13,000 and includes accommodation as well as a range of treatments in a Thai hospital.

"It consists of a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. I'm also getting some fat transfers to my face as well and derma fillers so it's just a more permanent solution," she said.

Kacey Louise is leaving for her mummy makeover on January 4 and is sharing the journey via her YouTube channel.
