National leader Christopher Luxon is set to unveil a new election policy targeting small businesses this morning.

Luxon is due to make the announcement in Auckland at around 10am.

It comes after Luxon faced off against Labour leader Chris Hipkins in a fiery TVNZ Leaders Debate last night, with the pair clashing over trustworthiness, racism and the cost of living.

A panel of undecided voters gave Hipkins the edge after the 90-minute debate, with 49% saying he had won their vote compared with 24% for Luxon. Another 27% remained undecided.
