A man has been charged with murder after a person was found dead in the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes yesterday afternoon.
Police are also looking for anyone who may have seen two vehicles travelling in tandem before the incident.
Emergency services were called to Sunnymead Road at around 2.45pm following reports that a person had been critically injured. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 33-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with murder overnight. He will appear in the Auckland District Court today.
"Police are not seeking anybody else in relation to this incident," a spokesperson said.

Acting Detective Inspector Craig Bolton said the investigation would continue, and residents could expect an increased police presence in the area.
“As part of our enquiries, Police are asking for information from anyone who may have witnessed two vehicles travelling in tandem before the events on Sunnymead Road," Bolton said.
“We are seeking information and dashcam footage relating to a black Audi A3 and a silver Toyota Crown seen travelling through the Panmure and Glen Innes areas on Thursday afternoon."
