Auckland Airport is warning of travel delays across its domestic network this morning after the terminal was earlier evacuated due to an electrical burning smell.
Images sent to 1News show queues of travellers outside the terminal, with emergency services including police and Fire and Emergency New Zealand also visible at the scene.

A FENZ spokesperson told 1News crews were called to the smell of electrical burning.
In a statement, an Auckland Airport spokesperson said the domestic terminal was evacuated this morning following the activation of sprinkler sensors.
"Airport Emergency Services and Fire and Emergency New Zealand responded, the alarm has since been silenced and the terminal has been cleared for staff and passenger re-entry.
"As operations return to normal, the terminal will be busy, and some arriving and departing flights may be delayed. Passengers should contact their airline for further details of flight impacts," a spokesperson said.
"We thank travellers for their patience and cooperation."
According to Auckland Airport's departures website, many of the domestic flights which were due to take off between 6am and 7am have been delayed.
A member of the public, Jesse F, sent 1News video footage of the scenes inside and outside the terminal, saying it was "still chaos".
