A person was taken to hospital as crews spent the early morning fighting a house fire in Auckland's Bucklands Beach.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said five crews were called to the scene at around 3.39am.
All people were out of the house.
Hato Hone St John said one person was taken to Middlemore Hospital with moderate injuries. Another sustained minor injuries but did not require transport to hospital.

In an update just before 7am, FENZ said two crews were still at the scene working to extinguish hotspots.
A fire investigator has been called.
