Cindy Crawford has spoken out for the first time following the death of her 27-year-old son Presley Gerber.
Gerber died on September 20 at a rehabilitation facility of a suspected drug overdose, which is being investigated by the Santa Monica Police Department.
The Guardian reported an autopsy was performed by the Los Angeles County medical examiner, but it was not clear what drugs contributed to Gerber's death.

Crawford released a statement on her social media, saying the family was "beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother".
"He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever," she said.
"We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability."
The supermodel and actress went on to thank friends, family and fans for their condolences, ending her post by farewelling Gerber.
"We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain," she said.
"Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia."

Supermodel Kaia Gerber also spoke about her brother's death, taking to Instagram to share a video and picture of the siblings as children.
Gerber's post included a written statement to her brother, in which she described her grief and admiration for him.
"You know how much I loved being your sister. It has always been, and will forever be, my favourite thing about myself," she wrote.
"I am learning how to love you when I cannot see you. How to tell you something without picking up my phone to call you. How to be your sister in a world that I can't reach for you in.
"My best buddy, my great protector, the hardest I've ever laughed and the one true love of my life - you lit all my candles and took all of my monsters away."
Presley Gerber had modelled since the age of 15, making his runway debut in 2016 for Moschino.
He also worked with Celine, Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana.
