Traffic eases after two morning crashes on Auckland's road network

Police said the crash, involving three vehicles, was reported to officers just before 7am, near the Upper Harbour Highway on-ramp.

NZTA says traffic has eased following two separate crashes on Auckland's roading network during peak commuter travel time.

Shortly before 7am, a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 1 closed a southbound lane between Constellation Drive and Tristram Avenue, near the Upper Harbour Highway on-ramp.

"There are no reports of injury," a police spokesperson said.

NZTA confirmed the crash had since been cleared and all lanes reopened.

Police also attended a separate two-vehicle crash on the Southwestern Motorway in Onehunga this morning.

The crash, near the Neilson Street on-ramp, was reported to police just after 7am. There were no reported injuries.

According to NZTA's roading map, the road has since reopened.
