Auckland's Waitematā (Britomart) station was reopened after it closed due to a nearby vegetation fire in Parnell, cancelling trains. .
Emergency services were called to Fred Ambler Lookout at around 4.10am. Four fire trucks and one ladder truck were called to the Parnell fire, with crews from Parnell, Auckland City, Remuera, and Grey Lynn.
Just after midday, AT said it had received "the all clear" and regular train services are back up and running with the station reopened.

A message on Auckland Transport's website said Waitematā station – Auckland's central train station – was closed "until further notice".
"Confirming that due to an emergency services incident, a fire near Ōrākei, Waitematā Station is temporarily closed," a spokesperson for Auckland Transport told 1News.
