Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting with political and community leaders on a whirlwind visit to New Zealand.
He arrived in Auckland last night, and was escorted to the Cordis Hotel where crowds had already gathered outside to celebrate his arrival.
The long-serving Indian leader took part in bilateral talks with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon this morning, before he was expected to meet with prominent business and sports personalities this afternoon.
Modi is due to speak at "A Wining Partnership" celebration on Auckland's Viaduct from about 1.30pm.
