Motorists are being told to expect delays during rush hour following two separate crashes in Auckland's Greenhithe.
Police received a report of a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 18, near the Squadron Drive off-ramp, on the Greenhithe Bridge shortly before 7.30am.
"A secondary crash occurred shortly afterwards a short distance back up the hill," a police spokesperson said.
The motorway was closed while emergency services cleared the scene. Lanes are now open but delays are expected as congestion eases.
One person received moderate injuries.
