Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has given a pre-Budget speech in Auckland.

It comes a little over two weeks out from the 2026 Budget, which will be impacted by the economic uncertainty brought on by the US and Israel's war on Iran and disruption to fuel supply through the Strait of Hormuz.
