A lucky Powerball player from New Plymouth has won $14.3 million with Powerball First Division in last night's draw.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from New Plymouth.
The prize was made up of $14 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.
The lucky player was the ninth Powerball multi-millionaire this year, and followed a huge $25.5 million jackpot split by two Auckland players two weeks ago.
Following the win, one of the Auckland players sent her children a jazz hands emoji before gathering the family to inform them of her huge news.
A Lotto spokesperson said two other lucky Lotto players each won $333,333 with Lotto First Division in last night's draw.
The winning tickets were sold at Marston Moor in Kaitaia and New World Rototuna in Hamilton.
Strike Four rolled over, and would be $400,000 on Saturday night.
"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," Lotto said.
"Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to inquire about the best way to claim a prize."
