All are due to appear in the New Plymouth District Court.

Two 31-year-old men were charged with unlawfully possessing offensive weapons, pistols and other firearms, as well as supplying cannabis and will appear in court on October 14 and 15.

The 39-year-old who arrived mid-raid was arrested on burglary charges and will appear in the New Plymouth District Court on October 28.

"Inquiries are ongoing and further charges are possible," police said.

Acting Senior Sergeant Ben Patterson said: “Not only were six people arrested as a result of these warrants, but we were also able to get these dangerous items and drugs out of the community.

“These arrests disrupt ongoing criminal activity, help reduce harm in the community and allow police to hold offenders to account.”
