Police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating a 36-year-old man who has been missing for a week in Auckland.
Hirender Chandel was last seen in the Māngere area on May 31. He was wearing a red beanie, a dark-coloured Adidas hoodie, and black trackpants with a large "5" on the left thigh area.
He was possibly in Māngere, Papatoetoe, Ōtara, or the wider Auckland area, but police said they were keeping an "open mind" on his location.
Both police and Chandel's family held concerns for his welfare and asked anyone who saw him to contact police on 111.
"Additionally, anyone who has further information on his whereabouts should contact Police on 105," a spokesperson said.
