Man dies on Great Barrier after water-related incident

A man has died after a water-related incident on Great Barrier Island on Christmas Day.

The incident was reported to emergency services shortly before 6pm on Saturday evening.

Police are making enquiries in relation to the death on behalf of the coroner.
