Auckland teen in serious condition after falling off cliff

A teenager is in serious condition after falling off a cliff in Auckland on Friday afternoon.

The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Bucklands Beach to rescue a male, who they say had accidentally fallen off a cliff.

He needed to be extracted out by a winch before being flown to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition.
