An illegal karaoke outing almost ended in tragedy after a police raid sparked a stampede at a nightclub in Bolivia.

About 70 revellers poured through the venue's gates to escape the officers but, miraculously, none were killed or injured.

A number of attendees and club workers were arrested for breaking Covid-19 lockdown rules.
