Pedestrian dies after getting hit by truck in Auckland

A pedestrian has died in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga after getting hit by a truck.

Police said the incident on Neilson Street happened around 2pm today, and the person died at the scene.

Delays can be expected around Galway and Victoria Streets this evening.
