Uber now accepting pets in some cars in Auckland and Wellington

Too lazy to take your pet dog for a walk? Why don’t you opt for an Uber ride instead?

For $5 extra, the ride-sharing company is now taking pets in Auckland and Wellington.

That’s provided there are no accidents, which could cost $150 in a worst case scenario.

As a courtesy to drivers, Uber requests that passengers bring a towel to protect the seats of the vehicle.

Seven Sharp tried out the fluffy service recently, watch the video above to check out how it went.
