Woman charged after $70k worth of meth and gun seized from Kawerau property

A woman has been charged after police recovered methamphetamine with a street value of around $70,000 at a property in Kawerau, Bay of Plenty yesterday.

Police say the woman, 35, is due to appear in Tauranga District Court tomorrow on charges relating to the supply of the drug.

As well as the 70 grams of meth, police also seized an illegal gun, untensils, equipment and $4000 cash.
