One person critically injured following crash between car and cyclist in Auckland

One person has received critical injuries following a crash between a car and and a cyclist in Auckland tonight.

The incident occurred on Edmonton Road in Henderson at approximately 7.15pm.

The injured cyclist has been transported to Auckland Hospital.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

Some traffic controls are in place and motorists have been advised to obey the directions of emergency personnel.
