New Zealand Breakers coach Gordie Herbert has criticised referees over two late calls in his side's 98-92 NBL loss to Tasmania.
Herbert also questioned why the same officials remained in Hobart after umpiring the JackJumpers' loss to Adelaide on Friday.
Breakers import centre Charles Bediako was called for a three-second violation with 2:24 remaining in the fourth quarter on Sunday, then for a moving screen 54 seconds later.
It was a rough finish for Bediako, who also missed four consecutive free throws down the stretch.
Herbert was at pains to distance himself from discussing refereeing matters, despite raising the officiating several times after the game.
"I don't talk about referees, but for 38 minutes they didn't call three seconds in the key or a moving screen, then they called two," Herbert said. "What's that about?
'I'll be honest – that bothered me'

"If you call it, you call that kind of screen the whole game.
"It was a four-point game and we had the basketball – that's when the moving screen was, at 1:30. I'll be honest, that really bothered me.
"They came down and scored right after that, and we were really facing an uphill battle."
Earlier, with 6:11 remaining in the final quarter, NZ's Dejan Vasiljevic was handed a flagrant foul following a collision with Tasmania centre Will Magnay.
Herbert believed Magnay should have instead been whistled for a moving screen.
"I try to stay away from referees," he reiterated.
"They have a job to do – they're human beings, they're going to make mistakes.
"They make a lot less mistakes than we do.
"We didn't lose this game because of the refereeing. I was just upset with that one call.
"For 38-and-a-half minutes they don't call a moving screen, then all of a sudden they do.
"Magnay moved on the screen when DJ [Vasiljevic] grabbed him and they called an intentional foul."
Herbert also questioned the decision to use the same trio of officials, led by veteran Chris Read, for two Tasmania games in the space of 48 hours.
"The other thing I don't understand is why there's the same three referees that were here Friday," Herbert said.
"I don't think it's right to have the same referees from when they lost Friday night here, staying here and refereeing another game.
"You don't see that in EuroLeague, you don't see that anywhere.
"I'm not saying that's wrong or anything or that's why we lost the game."
