Two people have been seriously injured following an incident in South Auckland this afternoon.
"Police are responding to an incident in Māngere and have located an injured person who is in a stable condition. Enquiries continue," police said in a statement.
Hato Hone St John said it was notified of the incident on Harwell Pl around 12.33pm. It responded with two ambulances, two rapid response units and one operations manager.
"Our ambulance staff treated two patients and transported them to hospital both in a serious condition."
Footage shot by 1News from the scene showed a vehicle outside the Māngere Community Health Centre with what appeared to be a bullet hole through the boot.
