National MPs were summoned back to Wellington for a caucus meeting today as rumours again swirled about Christopher Luxon's leadership.

Luxon survived a caucus confidence vote he called on himself in April, but renewed speculation has followed a string of recent controversies, low polling and growing tensions within the coalition.
