What to know

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will remain as the National Party leader following a confidence vote at a caucus meeting yesterday.
Surrounded by his senior leadership, Luxon said he "had the full support of our caucus", and described it as "united" ahead of the election on November 7.
The vote followed a string of recent controversies, low polling and growing tensions within the coalition. Luxon survived a caucus confidence vote he called on himself in April.
