The Auckland house is up for sale.

Dame Jacinda Ardern's Auckland house is now on the market, following her family's move abroad.

The 1930s bungalow in the suburb of Sandringham is set to go to auction on Wednesday, July 8.

According to realestate.co.nz the estimated sale price range is between $2.12 million and $2.46 million. The average sale price of other houses in the suburb is $1.45 million.

The listing describes the property as a "family focused, forever home".

"Step inside, and the home unfolds to tell a beautiful story of evolution.

"Peaceful, except for the native birdsong, and exceptionally secure, this property delivers ideal family living just moments from the popular Balmoral School".

The Facebook listing hints at the former owners with the caption "Step inside a former Prime Minister's Sandringham home."

Ardern and her partner Clarke Gayford moved into the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in early 2018, following her rise to Prime Minister in October of 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter Neve Te Aroha in June 2018.

After resigning as Prime Minister in 2023, she and her family spent time living in the US, where she undertook fellowships at Harvard University.

Ardern and her family relocated to Sydney earlier this year.

Speaking on Australia's Today show earlier this month, Ardern said Australia was a "wonderful place to be".

"There's so many similarities between Kiwis and Aussies, and so it's so like home in so many ways," she said.
