US President Donald Trump says a deal with Iran is now complete, declaring the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to the United States naval blockade.
"I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade," Trump wrote on social media.
"Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!"

The announcement followed comments from Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who said a peace deal had been reached between the US and Iran, including the "immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon".
Meditators would facilitate a series of meetings this week, with the official signing ceremony to take place on Friday in Switzerland, Sharif said in a post on social media.
"We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict."
Earlier today, US President Donald Trump said he expected an agreement with Iran to be signed in the coming hours and planned to ask Tehran not to respond to Israel’s strikes.
"We are very close to a Deal that will bring peace to the region, including to Lebanon" and "Let's not blow it!"
