SH1 reopened after serious crash near Levin

SH1 has reopened after a crash which left one person in critical condition and two with moderate injuries this morning.

Emergency services were first called to the three vehicle crash near the Manakau North Rail Overbridge at Manakau around 6.25am.

NZTA said the road was blocked near Waikawa Bridge and no diversions were put in place as none were available.

With the road cleared, police thanked motorists for their patience and advised care around the area as there were still some delays.
