Police release name of man found dead at Dunedin property

Police have released the name of the man who was found deceased at a property in Dunedin's Andersons Bay last week.

He was Douglas Alexander Senior, aged 58, from Andersons Bay.

Police were called to the property on Somerville St at about 5.50pm on Friday where he was located deceased.

A man was then charged with murder in relation to the death.

The 37-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Dunedin High Court on June 9.
