One dead after Hawke's Bay quad bike crash

One person has died after a quad bike crash at a property in Te Pohue, near Hastings, this morning.

Police said emergency services were alerted to the crash at a property on Ohurakura Rd at 10.40am.

Fire & Emergency NZ confirmed they assisted police and ambulance at the scene.

WorkSafe was also notified.

The Serious Crash Unit is expected to conduct a scene examination.
