Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Education Minister Erica Stanford are due to make a pre-Budget announcement from a school in Lower Hutt this afternoon.
The pair are speaking from Boulcott School.
At the weekend the Government released key details about the new senior secondary qualifications set to replace NCEA, outlining how students will achieve the certificates, how they will be graded, and what subjects they must take.
In a pre-Budget announcement last week, Health Minister Simeon Brown announced $15.5 million over four years for children's palliative care services.
Luxon and Stanford are due to speak from 2.30pm.
