Police have launched a renewed appeal over the disappearance of an Auckland man in 1991.

Andrew Maaka, a Headhunters gang prospect who vanished without a trace in 1991, was last seen alive at the gang headquarters in Henderson and has been presumed dead ever since.  

Detective Inspector Callum McNeill is speaking about the case from 12.30pm.
