Five injured after three-vehicle crash near Dannevirke

Five people have been injured following a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 2 near Dannevirke this afternoon.

Police said the crash was reported at around 2.40pm near Piripiri Rd.

One person is believed to have serious injuries, while four others were moderately injured, according to police.

State Highway 2 near Dannevirke remains closed, with motorists advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
