One person has been injured and two lanes on a Northwestern Motorway onramp are blocked following a car fire in Auckland this afternoon.
Fire services were called to a single car crash near the end of the St Lukes Rd onramp on State Highway 16 around 2pm, a Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson told 1News.
"The fire is well-involved and three units with a high-pressure hose reel delivery is still putting this out."
Hato Hone St John told 1News they responded with one ambulance after they were alerted to the incident around 2.06pm.
"One patient in minor condition was assessed and treated at the scene," a spokesperson said.

The New Zealand Transport Agency said two westbound lanes are blocked.
"Expect delays and pass with car."
