A "quite intoxicated" Thai man has reportedly gone on a shooting rampage at his own wedding, killing the bride and three others.
The BBC reports that groom Chaturong Suksuk, 29, then killed himself as well.
Suksuk reportedly had an argument with his new wife, 44-year-old Kanchana Pachunthuek, during the party. They were married over the weekend in north-east Thailand but the party ended in tragedy.
According to guests, Suksuk left abruptly after the argument and returned with a gun.
Alongside the bride, her mother and sister were killed, as well as a guest. Another guest was hospitalised.
Police told the British broadcaster that Suksuk "was quite intoxicated at the time", adding that he'd brought the gun and ammunition legally last year and the motive for the killings remains unclear.
Thai media reported that Suksuk felt insecure about the age gap between himself and his new wife. The pair had reportedly lived together for three years before the wedding.
According to the BBC, Suksuk was a decorated para-athlete and a former soldier.
He competed in swimming after losing one of his legs on military duty.
