The Caker's Jordan Rondel is selling off her old cake mixers, raising money for a good cause.
It comes after Rondel's Auckland iconic bakery closed its doors last month after ten years.
Rondel said she's selling her Kenwood stand mixers on Trade Me and donating the proceeds to Kiwi charity Good Bitches Baking (GBB). She said the charity is "a network of volunteers all over Aotearoa who spread kindness through their communities by baking delicious treats".
“You have no idea how dear these machines are to me, I love them like pets I swear! But it’s time they go into the hands of new bakers who can love them for decades to come - that’s how strong they are, they’re one of those things you pass down generations!

"It brings me so much joy to know they’ll be in use around Aotearoa, making batches of joy like they did everyday in my kitchen for so long.”
Since closing her flagship bakery on K Rd, Rondel has released a limited edition coconut cherry dark chocolate cake kit with GBB.
She said she's also worked on special cake kits and baking classes with Kenwood over the years.

"Kenwood machines powered The Caker kitchen for over a decade, and now some of those exact machines are about to make other bakers’ cake dreams come true."
Eight mixers will be listed on Trade Me at 10am tomorrow for keen bakers to bid on.
