Man arrested after flurry of burglaries at Wellington restaurants

A 27-year-old man has been arrested following a raft of restaurant burglaries across the Wellington region over the past month.

Police conducted a search warrant at a home in Moera yesterday, following inquiries into 11 restaurant burglaries across Wellington.

The man was arrested and taken into custody.

He is due to appear in Hutt Valley District Court on May 11 on 10 charges of burglary and one charge of party to burglary.
