One dead after two-vehicle crash in Kaitaia

One person has died following a two-vehicle crash in Kaitaia last night.

Police said they responded to reports of an accident on Roma Rd in Ahipara around 9.48pm.

The person died at the scene.

No other injuries have been reported, police said.

The Serious Crash Unit attended and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
