One person dead after two-vehicle Bay of Plenty crash

One person has died after a two-vehicle crash in Bay of Plenty last night.

The crash occurred on State Highway 2 West, Matatā, about 9pm.

Police said one other person was taken to Whakatāne Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
