Missing Taupō woman found alive and well

A woman reported missing in Taupō on Wednesday has been found alive and well.

She had last been seen on Wednesday afternoon, and items of her clothing were later located on Kinloch Beach, police earlier said.

The woman was found on Friday morning.

"Police would like to thank the public for their assistance."
